Dr Ella Madsen-Reid

Ella was born in England and grew up on the North Shore of Auckland. She completed her medical training at the University of Otago, before moving back home to Auckland for the first few years of her career. During this time, she worked at Auckland City, Starship, and Middlemore Hospitals across a wide range of hospital specialties including General Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics and Emergency Medicine. She has a special interest in children’s health and obtained a Diploma in Paediatrics before starting her GP training.

She enjoys working with people from all backgrounds and getting to know her patients over time. Ella is passionate about patient centred and preventative health care.

Outside of work, Ella enjoys finding great coffee spots, travelling, running, and spending time with friends and family.
