How does VensaPay work?
Whether you come to see your doctor in person, book a phone appointment or order a repeat prescription your doctor will simply email or text you a link to your personalised “Outstanding Invoices” payment webpage and you can pay it all straight away from your device.
How will my doctor send me a payment link?
Your doctor will send you a link by text or email. When the link opens your personalised outstanding invoices payments webpage, your medical centre name and practice address details will be at the top of the page.
How do I know the payment link is from my doctor?
If you receive a VensaPay payment link by email from your doctor you can check the email address that the link has been sent from. The link will be sent from no-reply@vensa.com and the link in the email will have https://payb.vensa.com at the front of the link. If you receive a link by text, it will also have “https://payb.vensa.com” at the front of the link. When the link opens your personalised outstanding invoices payment webpage your medical centre name and practice address details will be at the top of the page.
Is VensaPay secure?
VensaPay uses industry standard security to ensure all payments are securely transacted. This includes the encryption of the card capture process (see the lock symbol and https:// reference in the website URL of your payment link). In addition, VensaPay uses Stripe to take payments which is compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
How do I pay using the link?
Click on the link your doctor sends you by email or text, and all your outstanding invoices are presented on one personalised webpage. If you have more than one invoice awaiting payment, all invoices with the dates of service will be visible (with details obscured for privacy) and the full amount owing on all invoices will be displayed at the bottom. Part payments are not available on VensaPay, so if you need to set up a payment plan please contact us by calling 09 919 2555 or emailing info@quaymed.co.nz.
Can I pay by EFTPOS card or bank transfer?
Yes, bank transfer is available on VensaPay through POLi.
Can I pay for my whānau?
Yes. Each link sent is unique to a person’s account, and you can make payments for whānau if you have their VensaPay link (such as a parent for a child).
Will I get a receipt when I pay online?
Yes. After payment you will be able to enter the email you would like your receipt to be sent to.
What if I forget to pay when my doctor sends me a link?
Your VensaPay link will be valid for 30 days. A follow up reminder with a new link will also be sent after 7 days if you haven’t paid, and a new link can be sent at any time if you request one.
Do I have to sign up for a VensaPay account?
No. Your doctor will simply send you a link by email or text and it will open your personalised, secure payment outstanding invoices webpage and you can pay from any device.
Do I have to download an app to pay?
No. Your outstanding invoices are presented to you in a personalised, secure payment webpage when you click on the link.
