Dr Hugo Lau

Hugo was born in New Zealand. He grew up in East Auckland and attended MacLeans College. He completed his undergraduate Pharmacy degree at University of Auckland before becoming a fully registered Pharmacist. Hugo then proceeded to Western Australia to complete his postgraduate medicine degree.

After working one year in Australia as a Doctor, Hugo decided to return to Auckland where he continues to serve his home community.  Hugo has worked in a number of Hospitals in Auckland gaining a variety of experiences in General Medicine, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Public Health.

Hugo is passionate about health prevention and empowering patients to build lifelong good health habits. He believes that many people struggle with implementing healthy habits into their current lifestyle, so he encourages them to take small steps towards building healthy habits over time—and these small choices can create big results.

Hugo is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin and looks forward to meeting you in his next consultation.
